Officially opened in September 2011, Zipatso Academy is a secondary boarding school located at Kaphatenga in the Salima district, 800 metres north along the Nkhotokota Road. Our mission is to provide high-quality education in all subjects forming part of the Malawian School Certificate of Education (MSCE). We also offer an extended syllabus in art, music, and sports. Students are educated in a culturally diverse environment and our educational programme aims to help them become self-responsible, well-informed, and independently thinking individuals. The school has six classrooms, an IT laboratory, music rooms, specially equipped chemistry and physics classrooms, and a spacious library. At present it has four hostels. There is a sports ground for football, netball, volleyball, athletics, and other sporting activities. In order to ensure high-quality teaching and learning, classes are not larger than 25 students. Academically outstanding students are awarded scholarships. We welcome applications from external students.
