He was born on 14th October 1980 at Kabulika Village, T/A Kachinda Moto in Dedza District. He did his secondary school education at Mtakataka. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Education (Sciences) obtained at Chancellor College in Zomba, the University of Malawi. He specializes in Biology and Physical Science. He is married to Sylvia Kapuma and the couple has one son, Pemphero.

Katolora Mwanyongo

He was born on 29th April 1985 in Mzimba, though he is originally from Karonga District. He started his primary education at Euthini Primary School before moving to Bandawe Primary School in 1994. He then went to St. Patrick’s Seminary to complete his secondary education. In 2005, Mr Mwanyongo went to Chancellor College to study Bachelor of Education which he successfully completed in 2010, majoring English (Literature) and History in minor.

Mr Mwanyongo has a great passion in literature and, naturally, he does a lot of reading. He also takes a lot of pleasure in writing magazine feature articles and would like to study creative writing at some point.

Moyenda Moses
Chilamba

Born on 4th August 1984 in Lilongwe, Mr Chilamba hails from Kalumbi Village, T/A Chadza in the same district. He went to Chiwiri Primary School before moving to Mitundu Night Secondary School for his secondary education. Mr Chilamba then went to Chancellor College in 2004 where he studied Bachelor of Education, majoring in Health and Environmental Geography. He is divorced, with two children. He likes travelling, reading novels and writing poems, and has great passion in teaching Geography and spreading the Gospel of Jesus, especially through Kingdom Glory International Church where he is a pastor. After teaching in both public and private schools, Mr Chilamba joined Zipatso Academy in 2017.

Saidi Amidu
Chitambaa

Mr Chitambaa comes from Vinthenga Village, T/A Malenga Chanzi in Nkhota-kota District. He went to Linga F.P. School and Jalo Model School in Nkhota-kota and was then selected to Mtendere Secondary School in Malirana, Dedza. He went to Domasi College, later to University College of Education in Tanzania for a degree. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology and Chemistry.

Mr Chitambaa is married to Catherine C. Stambuli and he has six children, three boys and three girls. He likes chatting with different groups of people and to help the needy with whatever he can manage.

Malata

Born on 18th December 1980 in Thyolo District, Mr Malata is a passionate Science and Mathematics teacher. His passion is as a result of the experience drawn from teaching in some of the most prestigious secondary schools in Malawi. He is a holder of Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management which he obtained from Lilongwe University of Science and Technology.

Bwanthi

Born on 26th October, 1969, Mr Bwanthi is one of the older figures at Zipatso Academy. His father was from Kasungu district while his mother hails from Mchinji, both districts in the central region Malawi. Mr Bwanthi did his primary school education at Likuni Boys Primary School in Lilongwe before moving to Likuni Boys Secondary School. He then went to Chancellor College where he did Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) in 1989, majoring in French and Geography, with English as his minor. Seven years after joining the teaching profession, Mr Bwanthi went back to Chancellor College to do University Certificate in Education. Initially, Mr Bwanthi wanted to become a writer, an ambition that has stuck with him as he always moves with a pen around, scribbling whatever comes to his mind. Mr Bwanthi teaches English and French.

Manyengo

Last born daughter in a family of six and single, she has three brothers and two sisters. Miss Manyengo was born on 12th August 1987 at Monkey Bay District Hospital, before moving to the capital city, Lilongwe. She did her primary education at Chilambula LEA School before proceeding to Mayani Secondary School in 2001 where she did her secondary education. In 2008, she was selected to Chancellor College, a constituent college of the University of Malawi, to pursue a Bachelor degree in Arts Humanities majoring in Theology and Religious Studies and a minor in Drama and she successfully completed in 2012.

Miss Manyengo is a humble and honest person and during her free time she likes chatting, making new friends and traveling.

Mr John was born on 3rd December, 1979. He hails from Ngaiyaye village, T/A Njolomole, in Ntcheu district. He did his primary school at Muluma Primary before proceeding to Gowa Community Day Secondary School. Mr John then pursued Theological Studies with the department of Theology at Chancellor College. He is married Alinafe Tchuma. He now teaches Bible Knowledge and Social and Development Studies. He has a motto: »Do every assignment well so as to achieve organisational goals.«

Namatika

Mr Namatika was born in Zomba District. He was educated at Songani Primary School, Chinamwali Private Secondary School, and Domasi Demonstration Secondary School. He holds a diploma in Business Management from Amity University. He also studied Marketing at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry to third-level diploma. Mr Namatika is married and has three children. In his free time, he likes watching and playing football as well as making friends.

Thomas

Born on 4th January 1978, Mr Thomas is a highly motivated teacher who has been in the service for over 13 years. He has vast experience in teaching Biology and Agriculture which he has done in several schools in Malawi. Mr Thomas, who hails from Nzundu village in Thyolo District, did his primary education at Thekerani before proceeding to Thyolo secondary school and Chancellor College to do his secondary and tertiary education, respectively. He is also a Senior Examiner in Biology for Malawi Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) and Assistant Examiner for Malawi Senior Certificate of Education (MSCE).
